Calabarzon College Scholarship Search Launched
First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities launched the Calabarzon College Scholarship (CCS) for SY 2010-2011. Now on its eighth year, this search for new College scholars is offering 200 scholarship grants to deserving graduating public and private High School students in the Calabarzon region. A total of 160 schools are expected to participate in the search.
The following scholarship grants named after the heroes of Calabarzon will be awarded:
the Jose Rizal Scholarship which includes 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, a stipend of P2,500 per month and a book allowance of P2,000 per semester, the Apolinario Mabini Scholarship which includes 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, a stipend of P1,000 per month and a book allowance of P1,000 per semester, the Emilio Aguinaldo Scholarship which includes 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, the Manuel Quezon Scholarship which includes 100% discount on tuition fee and 50% discount on miscellaneous fees, and the Full Tuition scholarship which includes 100% discount on tuition fee.
Selection for the scholarship program is based on a competitive application process consisting of a written examination and interview. It is open to the top twenty students of the graduating class of each participating school. The examinations are scheduled on November 14 and 21, 2009.
