Ambassador of the Embassy of Cambodia in the Philippines , In May and Social and Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of Indonesia in the Philippines , Mr. Ahimsa Sockartono visited First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) for the ASEAN Week Celebration. Amb. In May and Mr. Sockartono graced the opening of the ASEAN Currency Exhibit.
FAITH’s Getting to Know ASEAN program has been on-going since year 2001. The main activity under the program is the celebration of the ASEAN Week every August where the school organizes various programs related to ASEAN such as exhibits, pageants, quiz, and art competitions.
For this year, the highlight of the celebration is the ASEAN Currency Exhibit which was undertaken in partnership with Bato Balani Foundation Inc (BBFI). The different embassies of the ASEAN member countries contributed to the exhibit by donating currency pieces.
