FAITH Celebrates Math, Science, and IT Week
The First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities (FAITH) Unified School celebrates its annual MSIT Week this February with the theme “Making Math, Science and Information Technology Work for You.” The celebration will be held at the FAITH campus in Tanauan City, Batangas.
Among the activities lined up for the MSIT week are the LTRLNX competition, Sudoku Challenge, Quiz Bee and Battle of the Bands. LTRLNX is a word game played by using the computer. For the Battle of the Bands, all contestants are required to sing original songs that promote the importance of Math, Science, and IT.
Also part of the MSIT Week celebration is the showcase of Robotics set-up prepared by High School students in line with the celebration’s theme. FAITH Unified School is one of the prominent schools in the field of Robotics. In 2006, the school won the first gold medal in Robotics for the Philippines when its students topped the World Robot Olympiad in Nanning, China.
