The FAITH Unified School together with the whole FAITH community celebrates the Vicarial Priests’ Day on August 6, 2007.
The priests of the Vicariate VI coming from different parishes in Laurel, Sto. Tomas, Talisay and Tanauan will be recognized in this event.
Prior to the Priests’ Day celebration is the Blessing of the Chapel of Mater Fidelium, FAITH’s Chapel. The Chapel of Mater Fidelium was built to provide a place of worship and reflection for the FAITH Community. With the reorientation of the FAITH Unified School’s curriculum to become a Catholic-oriented school, the chapel plays a significant role in the spiritual formation of the students.
Right after the blessing, the Holy Mass will be celebrated by Lipa Archbishop Ramon C. Arguelles at the FAITH Covered Court. The FAITH Unified School students have also prepared a short program for the Priests’ Day celebration.
Through this yearly celebration, the community is able to pay tribute and show gratitude and appreciation to the priests in the vicariate.
